22.9 Ministries is a Christian nonprofit ministry committed to going where people are, meeting physical needs, building relationships, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.

We believe every person matters to God and deserves to be seen, valued, loved, and reminded that their life has purpose.

Matthew 22:9–10 reminds us that we are called to go out and invite people in.

That is what we desire to do—to go to the streets and communities, meet people where they are, and invite them to experience the love and hope of Jesus.

Matthew 22:9 says, “Go...to the highways.”

For us, that means going where people are.

We serve in communities where God opens doors and where we see a need. Our outreach includes street ministry in areas such as Harrisburg and other communities.

We don't want to simply stay within the walls of a church.

We want to GO.

As God opens doors, we desire to reach more people and more communities with practical help and the hope of Jesus.

Depending on the needs of each community, we may provide:

• Food and water

• Hygiene supplies

• Clothing

• Blankets and other basic necessities

• Bibles

• Tarps

• Prayer and encouragement

When a need goes beyond what our ministry can provide, we also seek to connect individuals with appropriate community resources.

We may be able to provide a meal, but we also want to provide hope.

There are many ways to be part of the mission of 22.9 Ministries:

• Pray

• Pack supplies

• Fundraise

• Serve on Street Ministry

• Donate supplies

• Help with outreach projects

Street Ministry volunteers receive training before going into the streets with our team.

You don't have to have all the answers.

You don't have to be a preacher.

You don't have to know exactly what to say.

You simply need a willing heart and a willingness to GO.
